The stutter persists, even on non-demanding games like Rocket League. In all games, I am very close to v-synched 60FPS, but with frequent drops below that which cause visible stutter that wasn't there on the i5 3570K with the same GPU I had before. Regarding the performance problems: running an i7 6700k, one Brick of 8GB Kingston DDRMHz (set via XMP) and a Geforce 980. I think it had something to do with raid and ahci (settled for AHCI, I think). I wiggled my way around that problem (for the love of god I can't remember how I did that, I tried A LOT of things). Windows 7 was first asking for a CD/DVD driver that was apparently nowhere to be found. Is this normal? It only does this when I pull the CMOS battery. I'm a little concerned that maybe I have a defective motherboard? Here's a picture.Īlso, when I connect my speakers to the front HD Audio in from my case which I connected to the motherboard, it's louder than the rear.įinally, if I pull the CMOS battery and put it back in, when the computer boots up, it turns on, then after about 5 seconds, it'll turn off, then turn back on. I do have a Swap Slot at the front-top of my tower though, which had its SATA cable connected to the board and thought that was it. I had a lot of trouble getting windows on any of the drives, as well. I was wondering the same about the "Hard Drive" showing up.
